So I was talking with someone today about Honduras and I realized that I’ve been there three times…
First time: took a van ride with a man carrying a machete, stopped to play with monkeys and alligators.
Second time: got kicked out of a taxi for spilling beer. You see… The only way to buy bottled beer at our stop was to have the cap taken off before leaving… Yeah, I don’t get it either.
Third time: was offered cocaine in Roatan by a kid younger than me.
So all in all… I’d say Honduras is a fun, family-friendly destination.
